Una vez más les daremos la bienvenida a la Feria de Libros de Fotos de Autor. Como siempre la mesa estara servida, lista para que disfruten de su visita.
Encontrarán los libros clasificados de la siguiente manera:
La sección de Biografías agrupa historias biográficas o autobiográficas y libros de retratos, generalmente tratados desde una perspectiva íntima. En Viajes se encuentran los libros que presentan paisajes o recorridos donde los fotógrafos encuentran metáforas para plantear un punto de vista y distintos formatos de diarios de viaje. El sector de Documentales incluye proyectos documentales, casi siempre vinculados a temas sociales, en Estudios incluimos los ensayos que parten de una pregunta para llevar adelante una investigación, y cuyos resultados se plantean en términos visuales, en Construcciones o ficciones, presentamos los trabajos que parten de una imagen construida para mostrar el mundo, o para inventar historias de ficción, y por último en Otros lenguajes, van a encontrar las propuestas de libros de artistas que no incluyen lo fotográfico: grabados, aguafuertes, dibujos y pinturas.
Inauguramos el proyecto “Los nuevos”, a través del cual en cada edición de la feria, seleccionamos un trabajo que es presentado en la galería al año sigiuente. Este año, tenemos el placer de presentar la obra de Diego Spivacow, “Naturalezas de escritorio”.
Por otra parte, nuestros fotógrafos invitados para cada género son Esteban Pastorino, Alberto Goldenstein, Daniel Merle, Chino Zavalía y Martín Canals.
La Feria, año a año, supera nuestras expectativas gracias al apoyo de todos los autores que nos confían sus libros y que trabajan como bibliotecarios, recomendando, recibiendo y entregando cuidadosamente los libros, a los que apuestan a la continuidad de la Feria con su participación en este catálogo, y a todos ustedes, que al igual que nosotros, siguen ávidos de estos objetos entrañables que son los libros.
Compartimos con ustedes la alegría de haber sido invitados por el Centro de la Imagen de México, a participar de Fotoseptiembre, en el DF, el próximo mes. Llevaremos una colección de libros argentinos, que estarán expuestos con una selección de libros mexicamos.
